Almont Heritage Festival

Makes plans to visit downtown Almont this Fall! The Almont Heritage Festival will kick off a weekend of activities celebrating our rural roots and character. Events this year include some of your old favorites as well as new opportunities for you to enjoy. Start your day off right with a pancake breakfast sponsored by the Almont First Congregational Church. Learn Yoga and relax at the Almont Community Park on the banks of the Clinton River.
Classic cars will be rolling into town beginning at 9:00 am and will be on-site all day for the annual Almont Classic Car Show. The main festival site will feature fun for the entire family. The Annual "Chalk Around the Fountain" contest will be sponsored by the Almont American Legion where youth in grades 6-12 can compete for prizes. Challenge yourself on the rock climbing wall or navigating an inflatable obstacle course - all helping to work up your appetite for some great eats prepared by our local restaurants. Young and old can enjoy games, crafts, a petting farm, clown, face-painters which will offer thrills for all ages.
Take time to stroll down Main Street and visit the Almont Historical Museum. Learn about some of the history of that has made Almont the unique community it is today by participating in a self-guided downtown historical walking tour.
The evening entertainment is booked and promises to be a great time under the big tent! Friday night features "The Bob Marshall Band". Step back in time and sing and swing along with your favorite tunes. Saturday evening features, "Category 5" who will provide hours of pop rock music.
