14th Annual Holly Day Light Parade a Success!
The Almont Downtown Development Authority wishes to extend our sincere appreciation for all the businesses, organizations and individuals who helped to make our 14th Annual Holly Day Light Parade a huge success. The parade sponsor this year was Clay Stroup and Farm Bureau Insurance.  A special “Thank you!” also is extended to:  Tri-County Bank, Herb Lowell, Lynn and Tom Marta, Stanley Mack, Kevin and Lisa McNeil, Shooting Stars of Almont, Romeo Ford, Almont Police Department, Almont Fire Department, Almont DPW, American Tree, Almont DDA board members, Almont Community Historical Society, Skyline Camp and Retreat Center, Sherri's Barber Shop,  and our announcer: Paul Bowman, who helped to make this event truly memorable.   The performance of the Almont vocal music students under the direction of Mr. Adam Wetzel put everyone downtown in the holiday spirit.   The Almont Varsity Football Team  is to be commended for a job well done in helping to bring Santa to the downtown for the lighting of the Christmas tree.  A special “Thank You” to all the participants in the parade – the floats were spectacular!  We hope you make plans to join us again next year.
